Trailer Estates CERT Preparedness

CERT members hold regular meetings and hold mock drills to prepare for any type of disaster. In addition they help residents prepare for hurricanes and assist fire, police, utilites and the American Red Cross when a disaster of any proportion hits the community. They are the first to respond and circulate the community to assess property damage and harm to physical health. Members are assigned a zone and will report to a central command in Trailer Estates. Central command will request assistance through the Emergency Operations Center of Manatee County.
